Pinto arabians that live on farms have a high likelihood of being taken care of by breeders.
These horses are relatively healthy, but can be prone to several hereditary faults: hermaphrodite, cryptorchidism, monorchidism, overshot or undershot jaw, cataract, polydactylis. Horses that are not completely sound are not eligible for registration and should be excluded from the breeding stock.
