This horse is considered one of the oldest cultural breeds of horses in the world. Lipica is the place of the horse’s origin. First, it was named “the horse of Karst bred in Lipica.” The breed of Karst, Spanish, Neapolitan, Fredericksborg and later the Kladrub and Arabic horses were involved in forming this horse breed.
