These animals have strong hocks short, strong backs. Their rump is round without a crease. The shoulders are powerful and rounded. The chest is wide and deep. These mounts are rather hardy and able to survive in extreme winter conditions.

Animals of this breed have the wide set eyes that give them a wider range of vision to the rear. Their hooves are black and hard; they are almost round in shape.
